Cain and Abel

Mrs. H. Weed   -
The death of Abel
The discovery of Abel’s body by Adam and Eve. Abel is depicted as a muscular man, whose body lies on the ground while Eve kneels beside him and looks up in agony. Adam holds her arm, as if trying to help her rise. Behind him two women lament together with two little boys. All wear "biblical" robes.
