Parting of the Red Sea

Crossing of the Red Sea

After crossing the sea the Israelites arrive safely at the opposite shore. Moses and his people look behind them at the drowning Egyptians, whose weapons are swept ashore and taken by the Israelites. Some of the people raise their arms to heaven and thank the Lord for the miracle. Note the black and menacing cloud above the Egyptian side, contrasted to the bright sky above land.
