Matan Torah

Two haloed representations of Moses in separate, but related episodes of his life. On the left, Moses stands barefoot with his staff in hand amidst his flock, as he gazes at the burning bush (at right center, past the other Moses) and the hand of God reaches out towards him from a cloud above. On the right, Moses on Mt. Sinai (bottom right) reaches up towards the hand of God to receive the Law in the form of a scroll, which is all aflame.
